North American Trappers Historical Society’s Hall of Fame Recipients
Once a year, The Society awards Hall of Fame plaques to a few trappers that deserve recognition for their abilities and achievements as professional trappers. These trappers are some of the best of the best and their names and stories will never be forgotten.
The inscription on the plaque reads:
“Be it known to all men that this man (or woman) has been selected by his peers, the trappers of North America, to receive special recognition for his lifetime achievements and accomplishments as a trapper. His love for all things wild and his high level of professionalism have shown all who know him that he is indeed worthy of this award and recognition. May his name and legacy never be forgotten.”
This award is only given to professional trappers (still living) who are the real deal. The people who are responsible for the final selection of these recipients are professionals themselves. Please feel free to contact us if you know of someone who is deserving of this award.
